Lou has been in the trade since the mid 90’s, where he started in Vermont working for a local company as an apprentice. He continued his trade by attending the NH Community Technical College, Laconia where he received an Associate’s Degree in Fire Protection. After 7 years working for different sprinkler companies in every aspect of the industry — apprentice fitter, lead installer, system inspector, and sales representative Lou went out on his own and started Village Fire Protection, LLC. He studied and received his Contractors License for the State of Massachusetts and Rhode Island and after nine years of self employment is still personally involved in every aspect of the company. He reviews and submits all estimates for work; works directly with the engineering team, general contractors/owners/property management personnel to identify the scope of work, communicates directly with the local jurisdictions, and manages all projects to include the final walk through. He also trains all his employees personally and expects that all employees learn every aspect of the trade; whether that be inspections, installations, or retrofitting a system. Finally, he is the direct contact for our customers regardless of the situation. This personalized approach to his business allows him to not only know his staff and their abilities, but he knows his customers, and the industry. It is Lou’s professionalism and desire to do right by his customers that has allowed Village Fire Protection, LLC to become a well—known fire sprinkler company in the area.
